Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing or using FB Album Downloader ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

FB Album Downloader is a browser extension that helps users download Facebook photos and albums in original quality from profiles, Pages and groups. The extension supports batch album downloads, individual photo saves, custom folder and filename templates, and adjustable request pacing.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any international, federal, provincial or local laws or regulations
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame or discriminate against others
• Use the Service for spam, phishing or fraudulent activities
• Use downloaded photos for harassment, discrimination, unlawful profiling or other harmful activity
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to bypass access controls or obtain content unavailable to your legitimate session

Responsible Use

Only download photos that you own, photos in the public domain or photos you have permission or another lawful basis to save. Respect copyright, privacy, publicity rights, licensing terms, Facebook terms and applicable laws. Downloading a photo does not transfer ownership or grant permission to republish, redistribute, sell or otherwise reuse it. Do not use the extension to bypass access controls, obtain content unavailable to your legitimate session, harass others or support unlawful activity.

Facebook Terms of Service

You must comply with Meta's Facebook Terms of Service and all applicable laws when using our Service. The Service is designed to access only photos that are already visible to your legitimate Facebook session. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with Meta's policies.

Data and Privacy

Regarding data handling and privacy:

• The Service only accesses photos visible to your legitimate Facebook session
• Photo discovery and download coordination happens locally in your browser
• We do not upload or store your downloaded photos on our servers
• Facebook cookies, session tokens and photo URLs are not sent to the extension service
• You are responsible for how you use and store the downloaded photos
• Respect the privacy rights of individuals whose photos you download

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of echobot.dev and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

Subscription and Payment

For Pro subscriptions:

• Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis
• Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (Paddle and PayPal)
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods
• We may change subscription fees with 30 days notice

Free limits are controlled by the current extension configuration and may change. Current limits, plan availability and pricing are shown inside the extension and take precedence.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We are not responsible for data loss or corruption
• The Service's availability depends on Facebook accessibility
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, echobot.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless echobot.dev and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which echobot.dev operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to the effective date of the changes. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
